Yulia Barnakova is a Metaverse Lead Business Strategist at Accenture. She advises clients on shaping strategies around XR and AI to improve their customer experience and employee engagement.
She is passionate about education and digital literacy for all ages. She serves as a judge for Microsoft’s Imagine Cup innovation competition and as a mentor for the Girls Who Code organization. Her TEDx Talk “Think You’re Not Tech Savvy? Here’s Why You Are” addresses how everyone – regardless of job title – must embrace new technology to stay relevant in their career. She also runs a YouTube channel on creative presentations, for which he has received over 8 million views and Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional award.
Previously, she was the global lead for digital innovation consulting at Heidrick & Struggles, an executive search and leadership advisory firm. Prior to this, she was the VP of Marketing at a consumer products start-up within the Wharton Venture Initiation (VIP) Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
